PanaHom Privacy Policy

PanaHom ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PanaHom mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

Email address - Used for account creation and authentication
Name - Displayed in your profile and to other users in your property
Phone number - Optional, stored in your profile

User-Generated Content

Chat messages - Messages sent in property group chats
Photos - Payment receipt images uploaded for rent verification
Expense records - Shared expense data you create

Automatically Collected Data

Device identifiers - Used for advertising (AdMob) and push notifications
Crash logs - Collected via Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability
App usage analytics - Collected via Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (property management, rent tracking, chat, expense splitting)
To authenticate your identity and secure your account
To send push notifications about payments, announcements, and messages
To display advertisements through Google AdMob
To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services that are essential to the App's operation:

Google Firebase - Authentication, database, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications
Google AdMob - Advertising (receives device identifiers)

Your chat messages and property data are visible to other members of the same property within the App.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Opt out of personalized advertising (through your device settings)
Withdraw consent for push notifications (through your device settings)

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at info@soulsoft.co.kr and we will promptly remove the information and terminate the child's account.

We do not serve personalized advertisements to users identified as children under 13. In compliance with COPPA, we do not condition a child's participation in any activity on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.

8. Advertising

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings:

Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Turn off Personalized Ads

9. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at info@soulsoft.co.kr. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
